Set Your Day The Right Way
Have you ever woke up one day feeling a mess? You just felt like everything that was happening that morning was a disaster? Well, this won't happen anymore. In the following article, we will give you amazing tips to start your day on the right foot.
1. The alarm clock
Are you the type that snoozes every morning? That keeps on pushing back the time you get up? We've got an amazing tip for you. Instead of having the alarm clock right next to you, put it somewhere else in your place where you can still hear it but you have to get up to go an stop it. Personally, I love to put it in my bathroom. That way, I need to get up to go and stop it and since I am already on my two feet, I like to start my morning routine at that specific moment.
2. Set a positive intention
Take a few minutes every morning to be grateful for what you already have in your life. There are so many things we can be grateful about, it can be your family, your spouse, your friends, your house, your job, the food you have. We often don't realize how lucky we are in America. Also, set an intention for the day, maybe it is something new you want to incorporate in your life, maybe it is a new goal you want to achieve during this day. And never underestimate the power of intention. You are capable of doing everything you dream of, it is all just a matter of actions.
3. To Do List
Make a list of 3 important tasks you need to do during the day. Make sure that these tasks are leading you toward your goals. And that if the only thing you did today was these 3 tasks, you would consider this as a productive day. You can use tools such as the 5-minutes journal or simply a little post it on which you write down your tasks and as soon as they are done you simply check them off.
4. Put Yourself Together
Put some time in the morning into your appearance, it will help build self-confidence. When you feel great about yourself, you can focus all your energies on the tasks you want to conquer during the day.
So take time to shower, brush your teeth, floss, comb your hair, apply lotion/oil, dress to impress, and do whatever makes you feel like you are taking care of your health, looking presentable, and feeling confident. You will feel amazing during the day and this will have a positive impact on your work.
